Primary fields of research

Public sector collective bargaining; management-employee cooperation in the public sector; skilled labour migration; outsourcing/offshoring.

Current research

Nana Wesley Hansen is associate professor at the Employment Relations Research Centre (FAOS) at the Department of Sociology. Her primary research area is collective bargaining and cooperation in the private and public sector. She works with sector collective bainaing and local level.

Concurrently, Nana Wesley Hansen also conducts analysis on the recruitment of highly skilled foreign workers to Denmark. She studies the policy developments and recruitment practices at national and local levels. Recently, she has engaged in research on the relationship between offshoring of jobs and mobility of highly skilled employees in multinational companies within medico and the ICT business.

Nana Wesley Hansen is part of the research group on Knowledge, Organization and Policy at the Department of Sociology.
