Ms. Lai's practice primarily involves a wide range of tax services for international and domestic companies in various industries with respect to their inbound and outbound investment, including acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, and the establishment of distribution, sourcing and services operations, and tax dispute resolution. Ms. Lai is a member of the Firm's tax group.
Ms. Lai graduated from Peking University with an LL.B. (1987), Northwestern University School of Law with an LL.M. in Taxation (2003), and McMaster University Business School with an M.B.A. in Finance (2000). She was admitted to practice in the state of New York (2004).
Professional affiliations: Ms. Lai is a member of the American Bar Association & the New York State Bar Association.
