Nele Cannaerts

Dr. Nele Cannaerts a research is located within the Leadership and Next Generation Work expertise centers. Her background as a (labor) sociologist and her PhD in Management brings topics such as ambidexterity, leadership, organizational design, teams and teamwork, as well as more HR-oriented topics within private and public sector. Furthermore, she works for the project Road to Growth where researchers and practitioners have the ultimate goal to make entrepreneurs in Flanders, Belgium more ambitious, more innovative and efficient so that personal as well as organizational growth is accomplished. She is interested in developing new skills in all kinds of quantitative, qualitative as well as mixed methods such as QCA. At the University of Antwerp Nele teaches ‘Management and Organization’ to diverse – national and international – groups of students. Furthermore she is the supervisor of master’s theses in the field of professional communication.
