Research & Teaching Interests

Professor Wright''s primary research interest is judgment and decision making in accounting. She is interested in how ideas or opinions are formed and how courses of actions are decided upon in an accounting context. Professor Wright''s teaching interests expand all accounting topics, with a focus on auditing and financial accounting.

Industry & Academic Experience

Before going back to school to obtain her Ph.D, Professor Wright spent eight years working at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the assurance practice. She was afforded opportunities to work on financial statement audits for clients whose industries ranged from government contractors to not-for-profits to consumer and industrial products and services. These audits also ranged from small audits to large engagements that lasted most of the year.
