Biography

Nikolaus Obwegeser is head of the institute for Digital Technology Management at the Business School of the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Bern, Switzerland. Prior to his current role, he was Associate Director at the Global Center for Digital Business Transformation at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland. His areas of expertise include digital business transformation, innovation, and information systems. Nikolaus holds a PhD degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and received his tenure as Associate Professor for Information Systems at Aarhus University, Denmark. His recent works are published in various academic and practitioner outlets, including MIT Sloan Management Review, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of Systems and Software, and Technovation. Nikolaus regularly provides advisory and consulting services for public and private organizations in the area of digital business transformation.
