40 years experience as Owner, General Manager, and Broker in residential real estate brokerage, sales, and development. Have taught at UNC's Kenan Flagler Business School various years since 1981 as a Visiting Lecturer ...and for the past 15 years has taught both undergraduates and MBA's as Adjunct Professor. Named Professor of The Practice in 2015. Named MBA Teaching All Star in 2016. Also named Adjunct Professor at Duke's Fuqua Business School MBA Program in 2017. Currently teaches undergraduates and MBA's at UNC and MBA's at Duke. Engaged in residential development since 1978. Norman also works as a consultant with land owners seeking to monetize their investments in the best way possible. Other specialties include helping individuals invest in single family homes as rental properties, also as a consultant helping firms with strategic planning, and business plans.
