Dr. Hursh, Director of Vocational Rehabilitation Services at the Sargent College clinic, joined Boston University’s Department of Rehabilitation Counseling in 1974 and has been an Associate Professor since 1990. He is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a Certified Vocational Evaluator and a licensed rehabilitation psychologist.
Dr. Hursh has consulted and trained employers, unions, insurance companies, health care providers and governments across the United States, Canada and New Zealand. He has been awarded research and development grants and contracts by the Social Security Administration, the Rehabilitation Services Administration and the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research in the United States. He has also published extensively.
