Biography

I''m a Professor of Accounting and Finance in Manchester Business School. I''m an Associate Editor of the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting and on the editorial boards of Accounting and Business Research, and the British Accounting Review. I received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014 from the British Accounting and Finance Association.

Research interests

My current research interests are in corporate finance and market based accounting research, the latter including research on financial analysts.
