Biography
Darla Moore School of Business
Olga Perdikaki is an associate professor of management science at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. She received her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining the Moore School, she was on the faculty of Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
Perdikaki’s research focuses on retail operations, supply chain management, and the interface between marketing and operations. She has taught operations and supply chain management, statistics, and service operations at the undergraduate level.
Her research has appeared in Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Decision Sciences and the European Journal of Operational Research. She was the recipient of a Dissertation Completion Fellowship awarded by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. One of her papers has been a finalist for the best operations management paper award for papers published between 2012 and 2015 in Manufacturing and Service Operations Management.
Perdikaki is actively involved in several professional organizations, including INFORMS, MSOM and POMS societies, organizing conference sessions and tracks as well as serving as judge for student paper competitions. She is on the editorial review board of Production and Operations Management and serves as an ad-hoc referee for Management Science, Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, and Decision Sciences.
