Graziadio School of Business and Management
Dr. Hall holds the Corwin D. Denney Academic Chair and is a full professor of Decision Sciences at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School. He is a Julian Virtue Professor and a Rothschild Applied Research Fellow. Dr. Hall has more than 35 years of academic and industry experience in computer decision systems and information technology. He has authored numerous technical papers and several books on computer-based management decision systems.
Dr. Hall received the Harriet and Charles Luckman Distinguished Teaching Fellow in 1993, the Howard A. White Teaching Excellence Award in 2009 and 2017, and the Sloan-C Effective Teaching Practice Award in 2013. His current area of research includes the application of artificial intelligent agents to integrated learning systems and cloud based computing. Dr. Hall is the vice chairman of the INFORMS University Analytics Program Committee. He is a registered professional engineer, State of California and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. Dr. Hall received his PhD from the University of Southern California and undertook post-doctoral studies at the Center for Futures Research.

Professional Profile:
Dr. Owen P. Hall, Jr., holds the Julian Virtue Professorship and is a tenured full professor of Decision Sciences, at the George Graziadio School of Business & Management, Pepperdine University. He has over 35 years of experience in decision systems design and development. Dr. Hall is the author of several textbooks on analytical based management decision-making. He has also authored numerous technical papers on the subjects of learning systems, software design and business forecasting. Dr. Hall is a registered professional engineer, State of California. Dr. Hall is the recipient of both the Charles Luckman and Howard A. White Teaching Excellence awards. He is the former Editor-in- Chief of the Graziadio Business Report. Dr. Hall received his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and undertook post-doctoral studies at the Center for Futures Research.
