Pamela Skillings

Pamela Skillings is a former writer with TripSavvy. She is an author, journalist, entrepreneur, and a die-hard New Yorker. She has lived, worked, and played in Manhattan for more than 15 years. Throughout her eight years writing for TripSavvy, she wrote many articles about living and traveling in the fast-paced borough.

Pamela is the author of the Random House book "Escape from Corporate America" and a part-time journalist. She specializes in writing about her passions, which include the diverse topics of job interviews, career change, and life in New York City.

Pamela spent more than 12 years as an executive for major New York-based companies before starting her own New York-based job coaching company, Skillful Communications. She has been recognized as one of the top job interview coaches in the country and has been featured by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, "20/20", and "The CBS Early Show". She has also served as an adjunct professor for NYU, teaching courses in leadership and executive coaching.
