Biography

Paolo Corsico holds an MA in Philosophy and Bioethics from UCSC Milan, and an Erasmus Mundus MSc in Bioethics from KU Leuven, RU Nijmegen and University of Padua. He is currently enrolled as a PhD student in Bioethics and Medical Jurisprudence at the Centre for Social Ethics & Policy (CSEP), School of Law, The University of Manchester, under the supervision of prof Søren Holm and Mr Neil Allen.

Since January 2017, he is a part-time research assistant within the Neuroscience, Ethics and Society Team (NEUROSEC) led by prof Ilina Singh at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Oxford.

From 2015 to 2016 he served as a full-time research assistant on the Psychosis: EIE (Early Intervention Ethics in Psychosis) study held at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Oxford. Psychosis: EIE is a qualitative research study under the BeGOOD umbrella project, funded by the Wellcome Trust.

From 2010 to 2014, he worked as a junior researcher at the Centre of Bioethics, UCSC Milan, collaborating with the Italian Government on two different interdisciplinary research projects in health care ethics and regulation.
