Hertie School of Governance
Patrick Gilroy is a PhD candidate in the Berlin Graduate School for Transnational Studies. His PhD research focuses on the roles and influence of think tanks at the EU-level. Previously, he studied political science, sociology and communication science at Free University Brussels (ULB) and University of Düsseldorf (BA Social Sciences) and public policy at Hertie School of Governance (MPP with "Hertie School Alumni Best Master Thesis Award"). Patrick specializes in organisational studies and international relations; he used and is interested in methods as diverse as expert interviews, web-based surveys, OLS regression and social network analysis.
