Research & Teaching Interests
Professor Hurley has researching and teaching interests in applying psychological theory to investigate judgment and decision-making within an auditing context; using experimental economics to explore auditing market-level phenomena and methods of improving audit quality; exploring the determinants and impacts of risk and trust in economic decisions. He is also interested in auditing and Intro or Intermediate Financial Accounting.
