Biography
Alliance Manchester Business School
I completed my PhD in Medieval History at the University of Leeds and have taught at the University of Leeds and the University of Sheffield. I was appointed to my first lectureship at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2006, shortly before I submitted my PhD thesis. In September 2012 I was appointed as lecturer in Medieval History at the University of Manchester and I am also a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. I am also the co-founder and co-organiser of the SALC Schools lecture series, an annual programme of lectures on alternating themes which is delivered for schools by staff from the various disciplines within SALC.
