Strathmore Business School
Paul Ouma is an executive education leadership and management trainer, business consultant, coach and business school faculty member. He has a wealth of local and international senior management and board of directors level experience acquired in blue-chip multinational companies in the region spanning a period of over 20 years. He has facilitated client business workshops and seminars for multinational corporate organizations, family businesses, owner-managed enterprises, for-profit and not-for profit organizations and SMEs. He teaches and trains in executive education and MBA entrepreneurial programs and is the course leader of the Family Business Program at Strathmore Business School (SBS).He is also a past director of the MBA programs at SBS. He holds a BA (Hons) and MBA degree from the University of Nairobi and is trained in corporate strategy by the Balanced Scorecard Institute (USA).He is an alumnus of The International Faculty Development Program in IESE Business School (Spain) and is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) at the United States International University. Paul is the founder/director of the Institute for Family Business, a consulting, training and coaching advisory company focusing on enabling Family Business Enterprises, the owner-managers and their families to grow the businesses and succeed. His specialty subjects of consultancy, training and coaching are Corporate Governance, Entrepreneurship, Negotiation and Bargaining and Family Business Management.
He also serves and/or advises several SMEs and larger for-profit/not-for-profit boards of directors among them the National board of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), Kenya Red Cross among others. He lives in Nairobi with his wife and two sons and can be reached on:
