Dr Paul Thng Leong Keng graduated in 1988 and has more than 25 years of clinical experience. He received his 1st Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) to do Spine Surgery in the University of Calgary, both from the Neurosurgical and Orthopaedics Spine Divisions, in 2000. A 2nd HMDP followed in 2009 to Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University in Boston, USA.

In 2001 he started the Spine Service in Changi General Hospital. He has been appointed as Senior Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon, Adjunct Associate Professor, Chief of Spine Service, Director of Spine Fellowship and Deputy Chief, Orthopaedic Surgery. Over the last 10 years he has performed over 3000 major orthopaedic operations, and over 1400 major spine operations

Dr Paul Thng is currently the Chairman of AOSpine Asia Pacific Board (2013-16), a Global Spine Society with about 6000 members and 24000 associates that organizes educational programmes all across the world. In 2014, 55 such courses were organized in the Asia Pacific alone.

Dr Paul Thng currently practices at PTL Spine & Orthopaedics.
