Peter Tielemans

Peter Tielemans is a Principal Consultant at Involvation. He has more than twenty years experience as a business consultant in supporting companies in supply chain optimization programs. In his work for clients he combines his analytical skills in strategy development and design phases with his social skills in implementation and realization projects. Dependent on the needs of a client he takes a role with a focus on content based consulting, change management or project management.

Besides developing with a client a future state process and organizational design, Peter is also very capable to translate this design to an appropriate IT infrastructure. He has build a broad experience in the selection and implementation of different types of Supply Chain Management systems, for instance ERP, Planning, eProcurement and Facility Management. He published several reports and papers comparing the offerings of the different systems.

As an extension of his work in consultancy and in line with the Learning & Development offerings of Involvation, Peter shares his knowledge and experience actively. He is a frequent visiting lecturer at Universities and was affiliated part-time as Adjunct Professor to the RSM Erasmus University for more than ten years. On a frequent basis he publishes articles and reports on actual topics in Supply Chain Management.

Specialization: Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Demand Planning & Forecasting, Digital Planning, Supply Planning, Tracking & Tracing, Master Data Management. Peter has a special focus on Consumer Products and retail chains.
