Academic Division: Accounting & LawPeter Wilson currently serves on the faculty of Babson College where he teaches courses in financial reporting and financial statement analysis in the Accounting and Law Division. He has served as the Executive Director of Graduate Blended Learning Programs at Babson overseeing Babson’s Blended Learning MBA program delivered on campuses in Wellesley and San Francisco. Dr. Wilson has over 25 years of experience as both an administrator and teacher at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Prior to coming to Babson, Dr. Wilson spent 19 years at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business where he was a member of the accounting faculty and also served as the Executive Director of Executive MBA Programs. During his time at Duke, Dr. Wilson participated in the launch of three separate blended learning executive MBA programs as well as the design and delivery of the school’s first completely virtual management development program to an IT business services firm in India. Dr. Wilson has also designed and taught a wide range of corporate education programs on issues related to financial analysis, cost management, corporate strategy and management. He has led executive seminars around the world including presentations throughout Europe, Russia, India, Asia, and South America. Prior to his time at Duke, Dr. Wilson taught at the Stern School of Business at New York University in the graduate and undergraduate programs and also served as the Director of the Undergraduate Program in Accounting, Taxation and Business Law. Dr. Wilson holds a BA degree in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MBA degree from UNC-Greensboro, and a Ph.D. degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
