Rotman School of Management
Professor Phani Radhakrishnan is Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resources at the University of Toronto. She conducts research on the role of culture and race in organizations. She obtained her PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1996. Before coming to the University of Toronto in 2000, she taught at the University of Illinois, the University of Texas at El Paso, and the University of Windsor. She teaches courses in Negotiation, Team Building, Leadership Development, and Human Resources at the University of Toronto. She consults with governmental agencies such as the US Army Environmental Research Laboratories and non-profits like Catalyst. She has over 25 publications in top tier, peer-reviewed journals and 80 presentations at conferences. Her research is published in top-tier journals like the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, The Academy of Management Journal, The Journal of Applied Psychology and Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin. Her research on racial harassment was funded by the US National Institutes of Mental Health. She presented her research to the Senate of Canada for amending Bill C65.
