Biography

Phil Terrigno is in his second season as an assistant coach at Army West Point. Prior to West Point he served as the head coach of Texas Tech University men's rugby team for two seasons and also worked as the interim commissioner of the Red River Conference. He previously coached the Texas Tech women's team, which qualified for 7s nationals in 2015.

From May to July 2018, Terrigno, a USA Rugby Level 300 certified coach, was embedded with the Tafel Lager Griquas in South Africa's Currie Cup completing a coaching and management apprenticeship.

Terrigno holds an MS in Journalism from Columbia University and an MBA from Texas Tech. He is the former captain of nationally-ranked Marist College rugby and has been affiliated with White Plains RFC and Old Blue RFC.
