Philip Huysmans obtained his Master in Management Information Systems from the University of Antwerp in 2006. He prepared his PhD “On the Feasibility of Normalized Enterprises: Applying Normalized Systems Theory to the High-Level Design of Enterprises” between 2006 and 2011, after which he became a board member at the Enterprise Engineering Institute, an organisation devoted to the promotion and implementation of the practical application of Enterprise Engineering, an emerging discipline. Besides his work as a board member, Philip is currently also a post-doctoral researcher for the University of Antwerp. His research interests include Normalized Systems Theory, Enterprise Engineering, Enterprise Architecture.
