Mendoza College of Business

Phillip Corporon has been employed at the University of Notre Dame for over 20 years with both the Mendoza College of Business and the College of Engineering. He also has several years of commercial experience as an engineer working with hybrid micro-electronics, computer controlled test equipment and ferro-resonant power supplies. During his tenure at Notre Dame''s College of Engineering, he wrote the technical manual Wayne George Optical Comparator to DEC DVR-11 Parallel Line Unit Interface Board for the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. Corporon has been involved with the university''s Microsoft Windows and Advanced Computing Technologies support teams and has served as a Guest Instructor for the Computer Education Program. As a founding member of the Mendoza Web Group in 2000, he has been intimately involved in the development of scores of web sites and web-based applications. In 2006 he assumed the role Web Technologies Program Director. Corporon has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from Northern Illinois University and an M.S. in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame. He also has A+ Certification from the Computing Technology Industry Association and has served as a board member for a number of non-profit athletic clubs.
