Biography
PK Toh is an Associate Professor in the Management Department, McCombs School of Business. He received his PhD in Strategy from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 2007. His research focuses on technology strategy, covering issues such as technological competition, technological development under uncertainty, organization of R&D, and other value creation and appropriation strategies. He has published in top-tier academic journals in the strategy field and won awards in both research and teaching. He is an Editorial Board member at Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Strategy Science, and Strategic Organization. Other than his academic qualifications, he also holds two advanced diplomas in piano performance – the Licentiate and Fellowship of the Trinity College, London. Prior to his academic career, he was a currency options trader at JP Morgan.
