Questrom School of Business
She holds the positions of Associate Professor in the Operations and Technology Management Department, Dean's Research Scholar, and Faculty Director of the Honors Program at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University.
Her research is dedicated to exploring service operations, platform operations, and pricing inquiries, with a particular emphasis on how digital technologies facilitate innovative business models. She incorporates economic (game-theoretic) models and data-driven tools within operational contexts. Her primary focus lies in examining the influence of consumer behavior on pricing and operational decisions, with practical applications spanning across retail, services, and platforms. Additionally, she delves into the policy implications within these domains.
Her research contributions have been published in prestigious journals such as Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Operations Research, and Marketing Science. She also plays pivotal roles in the academic community, serving as an associate editor at Manufacturing & Service Operations Management and as a senior editor at Production & Operations Management.
Before joining Questrom, she earned a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the Technion and obtained a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to her current position, she held the role of an assistant professor at the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.
Within Questrom, she actively contributes to the academic environment, co-teaching a course on Risk Management in the online MBA program, as well as leading seminars in the honors and doctoral programs. Her teaching experience also encompasses the core MBA course in operations, the MBA elective in Supply Chain Management (offered in both daytime and evening formats), and the Undergraduate elective in Operations Analysis.
