Experienced in consulting, grant writing & pitch presentation for biotech/deeptech startups specializing in healthcare, diagnostics, drug development, biomedical imaging.

Was an Associate Professor and research group leader for 12 years, specializing in lipid biology, neurodegeneration, imaging, genetics and cell & molecular biology, with a strong publication record (incl. Nature & Cell), lead author of 2 patents, and 3500+ citations. Successfully mentored PhD and postdoctoral students, as well as numerous undergraduates.

Won external grants worth over $2 million in 4 years, plus funding for international collaborations. Conducted large undergraduate lecture courses and graduate seminars in neuroscience, membrane biology, imaging, genetics, & developmental biology. PhD in Molecular Genetics from Columbia University in the City of New York. Skilled in group management, grant writing, manuscript preparation and writing, lecturing, scientific data analysis, biological imaging, and presentation.
