Raluca Chiorean (Accounting) earned a doctorate in accounting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s and bachelor’s in accounting at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Chiorean was a visiting assistant professor at Lehigh before being appointed to the faculty. Her research and teaching interests include financial accounting and capital markets, voluntary and mandatory disclosures, and financial derivatives and hedge accounting.
