Biography
Dr Ramesh Wijaya is a consultant with the Department of Surgery at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He is also part of the colorectal service with interest both in minimally invasive surgery and surgical oncology. He spent 1 year of his advanced specialist training with the Department of Surgical Oncology, National Cancer Centre.
He graduated from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS in 2007 and completed his general surgical training in 2014, obtaining his fellowship, FRCS (Edinburgh). He was awarded the College of Surgeons, Gold Medal as the best performing surgical trainee in the Advanced Surgical Training Programme.
Apart from his clinical interest in general and colorectal surgery, he is also involved in clinical research and education especially in undergraduate surgical education.
