About

Raven Curling serves as the student employment coordinator for Loyola''s Career Development Center (CDC). Raven manages student employment positions both on campus and within the community, which is inclusive of federal work study and non-federal work study funding. She works to maintain strong relationships with both Loyola and community partners, while providing assistance and support to students as they navigate employment opportunities.

Prior to joining the CDC staff, Raven served as the Residence Hall Coordinator at Chicago State University for more than three years and was most recently an outreach and project coordinator at the Center on Halsted. In both positions, she created and managed programs that promoted wellness, self-advocacy, and leadership for a diverse population of youth.

Raven holds a BA in psychology from Chicago State University and a MA in counseling and organizational psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. In spring 2014, Raven completed an internship with the CDC as a member of the program evaluation team responsible for assessing community partners, through site visits and interviews. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, writing, reading, mentoring young adults, baking, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Raven has completed the following Loyola University Chicago staff/faculty trainings: I''m Here For You (Survivors of Dating Violence) and Share the Dream: Undocumented Ally Training.
