Dr. Carriere completed her residency at the University of Toronto’s Department of Psychiatry after receiving her medical degree from McMaster Medical School in Hamilton.
She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and holds a specialist certificate in Psychiatry.
Dr. Carriere works with the Mississauga and Queensway Hospital Sites of Trillium Health Partners as Ambulatory Mental Health Division Head, Mental Health Service. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and was recently Chair of the Quality and Practice Committee in the Psychiatry Department at Trillium Health Partners.
Dr. Carriere has chaired the Early Psychosis Intervention Ontario Network (EPION) Metabolic Working Group and was Assistant Medical Director, Outpatient and Community Mental Health at The Ottawa Hospital.
Her research interests have included quality improvement in outpatient mental health, technology-enabled care, and genetics and schizophrenia.
