Dr K N Rekha has 18 years of experience in Training, Research and Education Industry. She is a Doctorate from IIT Madras in OB. The title of her thesis is “The Effect of Mentor Characteristics on Mentor Outcomes: The Mediating Role of Willingness to Engage and Nature of Mentoring Support”.

She was a Senior Faculty at Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, DHE, MoE, GOI, Hyderabad. She has worked on curriculum development (UG and PG Level) in Rural Management and Waste Management; designed, scheduled and conducted more than 50 faculty development programmes on Rural Management and one day workshops on Rural Entrepreneurship Development. Also, as a part of editorial team at MGNCRE she has brought out edited volumes, books on Rural Management and Waste management, cases, and caselets on rural management.

Prior to that, she has worked at ISB as a Researcher and as an Academic Associate. She also had a shorter stint as Research Fellow for a year at Centre for Organization Development under the leadership of Dr B L Maheswari. She started her career as a Lecturer teaching Business Management students at CMS College of Science and Commerce, Coimbatore.

She has co-authored a book on “Introduction to Mentoring”, written book chapters, peer reviewed research papers, book reviews, Cases, and caselets in the area of HR/OB. She also presented papers in various national and international conferences. Her research areas include Mentoring, Leadership, Change Management, and Rural Management. She was also invited as a guest speaker at prominent institutions including IIT Hyderabad. She can speak English, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
