Biography

Cranfield School of Management

Richard has a background in electronic design and extensive experience of managing high-tech businesses, board level negotiations and of taking product from initial introduction to high revenue. He has more than 20 years of working in sales and customer fracing environments and of developing and managing director and C-Suite relationships with demanding, global customers.

Richard has had significant success with projects that involve pioneering new approaches, turning around programmes or groups in difficulty and in building strong, effective and coherent teams from diverse and dispersed groups and individuals.

He was part of the team that set up Hewlett Packard Storage's original OEM (KAM) group in 1996.

He has specialised in improving customer feedback processes, helping companies get away from simplistic surveys and showing them how to introduce processes that directly lead to practical improvements and strengthen their customer relationships.

Richard has been working with the Cranfield Key Account Management Best Practice Club since 2004.
