Executive Consultant & Founder, Transformation Strategies, Inc. – builds extraordinary relationships leading breakthrough conversations that fundamentally shift how leaders and their systems interact and do business.

He works with senior leaders, enhancing how they interact, decide and lead the enterprise. Bob also creates leadership development and succession planning efforts, building pipelines of diverse, high performing talent. He is an innovative program designer who builds strong teams to deliver outstanding leadership programs.

As Senior Faculty and former Director of the Organization Development Program, he has trained hundreds of leaders and consultants in the complex dynamics of change for two decades. He is the creator of the Leadership-in-Action Training Methodology a nine-month cohort learning process currently used by the US Army to prepare senior scientists and engineers for executive roles. As lead faculty and co-designer of the Insights Into Leadership Executive Curriculum he worked with dozens of leadership teams around the world at global publisher Pearson, plc.

People who know Bob describe him as a seeker who explores the wisdom traditions widely, has a decades-long yoga practice and who approaches his work with a big heart and a keen intellect. His mission is to create spaces where others can connect, grow and learn, and thereby bring their best to their lives and the world. Born to teach, he looks for potential in others, assumes people act from a place of noble intent and sees his purpose as accompanying others on their learning journeys.

Bob’s current writing project is Executive Shift: Nine Domains of Leadership. His book articulates a systems framework for leadership that helps leaders be more strategic in setting priorities, focusing their attention and energy. This approach is applicable to leaders at all levels and particularly relevant to rapidly ascending executives in roles with significantly greater scope, scale and complexity. He is also a contributing author of - Engaging Leadership: Three Agendas for Sustaining Achievement (Macmillan 2009) – a compilation of best practices.

Bob has an MA in Human Resource Development, post-graduate training in Organization Development and coaching training in the Gestalt, Sedona and Integral traditions. He works, travels and speaks internationally, is fluent in French, having lived in Europe for many years and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Central Africa.
