Biography
Robert Krueger is an instructor at the School of Hospitality Leadership in the Driehaus College of Business. He has worked in accounting and finance within the industry for 30 years and currently is the director of finance for Oxford Hotels and Resorts. He is also a consultant and an adjunct professor at Waubonsee Community College, where he teaches accounting courses. His previous work experience includes working for Wyndham Hotels, Westin Brand, The Langham Hotel in Chicago and Stone Financial Group (for 15 years), which was a full-service real estate hospitality asset management and investment advisory firm. His prior experience also includes VMS Realty Partners and VMS Hotel Group.
Krueger began his career as an auditor after graduating college. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Illinois with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, and he is also a Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive. Krueger is an active member of the Northwest Chapter of the Illinois CPA Society and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. For four years, Krueger served in the U.S. Coast Guard doing search and rescue in the Great Lake sector area.
