Dr. Rohit Budhiraja is a physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
He received his medical degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (New Delhi, India). He then completed a residency in internal medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University, followed by two fellowships: the first in pulmonary and critical care at Tufts Medical Center, and the second in sleep medicine at Henry Ford Hospital. He is board certified in pulmonary disease and sleep medicine.
A specialist in sleep medicine, Dr. Budhiraja’s main research interests include the cardiovascular consequences of sleep apnea, adherence to PAP therapy and epidemiology of sleep-disordered breathing. He has published multiple peer-reviewed publications and is an associate editor of both the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine and the Sleep for the Southwest Journal of Pulmonary and Critical Care.
