University of Miami Business School

Roman Chychyla is an assistant professor in the Department of Accounting at the Miami Herbert Business School. His research examines the determinants and consequences of firms’ choices related to format, presentation, and non-numeric content of firms’ communications with stakeholders as well as the use of technology in accounting. Professor Chychyla's work has been published in leading accounting and information systems academic journals including The Accounting Review (TAR), Journal of Accounting and Economics (JAE), and Journal of Information Systems (JIS). He holds PhD in Accounting Information Systems from Rutgers University, a B.S. degree in Mathematics and a M.S. degree in Statistics from Ivan Franko National University in L’viv, Ukraine.
