Biography

Sanbao Zhang is an Associate Professor at Economics and Management School of Wuhan University. He received Ph.D. in Management from Sun Yat-sen Business School of Sun Yat-sen University, and B.A. in Management (Major) and Law (Minor) from Wuhan University. He ever worked as an adjunct research fellow at Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, and currently working as a Visiting Scholar of Strategy at INSEAD.

Dr. Zhang conducts research on institutional leadership in Chinese context. His research received funding from National Nature Science Fund of China, China Ministry of Education, China State Scholarship Fund, etc. Several of his papers were published in China leading management or political science journals.

Dr. Zhang keeps focusing on doing business in China and with Chinese businesses by conducting quantitative or cases studies. His efforts to convert research findings into teaching materials in courses such as Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Special Topics on Management Theories, etc., have won him positive evaluation from graduates and undergraduates of Sun Yat-sen University and Wuhan University.
