Biography
Harvard Medical School
Sarah has been board certified with the Association of Professional Chaplains since 2004. She previously served as the Palliative Care chaplain at New York University Langone Medical Center, as well as in Hospice. Sarah has a DM in from St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, a MDiv from Harvard Divinity School, and a BA in Religion from Haverford College. She is on the Board of Directors of the Association of Professional Chaplains and is Secretary of the Board of the Orthodox Christian Association of Medicine, Psychology, and Religion. She is endorsed by the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese.
Sarah’s research interests include quality improvement, interprofessional teamwork, and the role of spirituality in bereavement. She is also active as a musical director and pianist for local musical theaters, including the Boston Conservatory and the Winthrop School of Performing Arts.
