Sean Connolly is the Co-Founder and Chief Entrepreneurial Officer for Helix Chicago. Helix reduces the impact of youth unemployment in Chicago by opening businesses that provide jobs and skill development for 16-24 year olds. Helix has a specific focus on transferable skills, goal setting, and career pathway development. Prior to Helix, Sean worked at Loyola University Chicago, and helped launch and lead the University’s student run business program, Loyola Limited. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and coordinates the chapter’s LGBTQ outreach across Illinois. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce and is an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business. Sean has his B.A. in Political Science and a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago.
