Sean Kivlehan, MD, MPH is an attending physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School. He completed the International Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Emergency Medicine residency at University of California San Francisco and San Francisco General Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. His medical and Master of Public Health degrees were completed at New York Medical College. He has served as a consultant for the World Health Organization, was a New York City paramedic for ten years, and has worked around the world in disaster, development, and education settings. Currently his work is focused on emergency care systems development and response system strengthening.
