Sergio Llebaría Samper

Doctor of Law from the University of Barcelona (1987), he is Professor of Civil Law at the ESADE Law School (Ramon Llull University) (2007). He is currently head of the Civil Law area, Director of the Law Department and Vice Dean of ESADE Law School. He is also a researcher in charge of the URL research group Patrimonial law: legal regulations and social change. He has carried out research stays at the Universities of Bologna, Toulouse and Montpellier, and has participated and participates in competitive research projects financed at national and regional level. Author of publications and frequent speaker, his research focuses on civil property law, especially the law of contracts, credit protection, consumer protection, private real estate law, family finances and estate planning mortis cause. A staunch defender of the quality of law teaching, he also has projects and publications on legal training and learning methodologies. He has collaborated and collaborates as a consultant for law firms and professionals and as an issuer of reports and opinions on matters of his specialty.
