Zicklin School of Business
Sevim (Sevil) Oztemurlenk, PhD, is a lecturer in the Narendra Paul Loomba Department of Management at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College where she teaches courses in organizational behavior and human resources area. She began her path in education with a bachelor’s in business administration from Istanbul University, then earned an MBA from Dowling College. She also holds a PhD and MPhil in information studies from Long Island University C.W. Post. Her research interests in the field of management primarily focus on emotional intelligence and information behavior of managers. She seeks to understand how emotionally intelligent HR managers make a difference in organizations and uses qualitative and quantitative research techniques to provide new empirical evidence in the field of management.
