Experience

Shannon brings more than 16 years of leadership experience to her role in the classroom. Since joining CCL, she has successfully led multiple functions including client service, vendor management, assessment operations, contracts management and project management. She has partnered with faculty and sales on the design and implementation of global client leadership solutions and has also managed a variety of project teams and strategic initiatives, including the global operational integration of a new campus, multiple assessment integration projects, served as a core member of the Technology Review Board, the CCL Language Strategy team, Instrument Review Team, and Client Experience Team. She has a track record of effectively managing business operations as well as leading global, cross-functional initiatives and teams. She has been recognized for increasing operational efficiency, quality, and has a unique ability to understand and translate the needs of diverse stakeholders.

Shannon also served in a short-term assignment in CCL’s Research and Innovation group and partnered with research to conduct an analysis of interviews with global leaders on the specific challenges they face. To present these findings, she co-authored an article in the July/August 2007 edition of CCL’s Leadership In Action publication.

Current Role

Shannon is a leadership solutions facilitator for CCL’s Greensboro campus, serving as a classroom facilitator for several open enrollment leadership development programs. In this role, she also contributes to the Center’s leadership solutions through design and delivery of customized global leadership development programs for clients in various industries.

Educational Background

Shannon holds an MS in management from the University of Maryland University College and a BA in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is certified in 4MAT and in CCL’s 360-degree suite of assessments.
