Shawna Butler

An architect of strategic partnerships at the intersection of technology and health care innovation, Shawna works with early stage ventures, large-scale enterprises, and internationally recognized thought leaders. Her diverse portfolio of projects includes implementing an enterprise wide digital radiology solution, creating an international emergency medicine training rotation between a US medical school and a NZ hospital system, producing a global venture competition for oncology focused startups, and writing the social entrepreneurship curriculum for an international public policy program.

Her clinical nursing experience includes emergency, cardiac, and critical care in large university and small community hospitals, and international medical flight transport.

As part of the team at Singularity University, she is tasked to find the mavericks and projects with a serious chance of making society stronger.
