I am based in: Vancouver

I’m a curious, creative and capable communications consultant who has been an executive in the advertising, energy and municipal government sectors in roles of increasing responsibility for 15+ years. I’ve played on, and built, some great teams whose work has been awarded international and national awards. In recent roles I am cultivating a strong sense for change management and organizational effectiveness. I also hold an MBA from RSM Erasmus University in the Netherlands, and a BA from the University of British Columbia.

Colleagues say they most love my energy, quick wit, and reputation for being a bright spark at both the leadership table and in the trenches to get things done. As a consultant I bring quality analysis, an injection of ideas, and a strong sense of systems thinking.

After 11 years living and working in Europe I returned to Vancouver and enjoyed carrying on my international career with Shell while having some local impact back in my hometown. I took that to a new level by leaving Shell and taking on a leadership role within the City of Vancouver. In addition to convening conversations that catalyse change, I have a passion for education and leadership development. So, in my spare time I have worked to support THNK in growing it''s presence in North America and now contribute to building the League of Intrapreneurs. THNK''s mash up between an MBA & Design Thinking is exactly the sort of cross-sector, mid-career learning experience that I think we need more of to help develop the people and ideas that will solve some of the big problems we’ll need to tackle in the decades ahead.
