Henley Business School

Stefan Nilsson, a Tokyo-based investor and entrepreneur, is a former hedge fund executive who has also worked in asset management and prime brokerage at investment banks JP Morgan and Bear Stearns in Japan.

He is the founder and CEO of HFC Advisory Group and a director of Terrasias Capital, a single family office. Additionally, he is the founder of the Hedge Funds Club, Asia’s largest network of hedge fund managers and investors.

Stefan is a lecturer and adviser for Henley Business School’s executive hedge fund programme in Asia and has also lectured at University of Hong Kong as well as spoken at numerous industry conferences globally.

Stefan is a writer who specializes in writing about alternative investments and rock music.

He currently serves as Chairman – Japan and member of the global board of trustees of SNS – Centre for Business and Policy Studies. He is also a board member of the Japan-Sweden Society, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan and Ljusdals Bandyklubb. He received his MBA from Leicester University.
