Biography

WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management

Professor Spinler is head of the Kühne Institute for Logistics Management at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management. An international scientist specializing in data analytics and quantitative modeling, he taught at the Wharton School in Philadelphia and at Boston's MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). With his research projects, he examines the value of so-called big data for strategic decision-making and possibilities for the development of decision-making models that are used in uncertain circumstances.
