Research
Stefan's research focuses on corporate finance and regulation. He studies the interplay between firms' institutional environment and firms' competitiveness. Specifically, he has examined the impact of anti-bribery regulation on firms competing in regions perceived to be corrupt as well as the impact of exchange of tax information on firms with tax haven subsidiaries. Stefan holds a PhD in Finance from INSEAD and a MSc in Finance and Management from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, UK.
