“Stefano Turconi is a Teaching Fellow of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the London Business School (LBS). Stefano has held visiting appointments at both MIT Sloan School of Management and Moscow School of Management. He is the recipient of two LBS Faculty Awards, being voted best MBA teacher in 2020 and 2021. Two of his MIT Sloan Management Review articles – Turning Strategy into Results and Six Steps to Communicating Strategic Priorities Effectively – are among the journal’s most popular of all time. And his most recent case study – Netflix Goes to Bollywood – was the most popular open case worldwide in 2021.
At LBS, Stefano has created the Luxury Strategy elective, which has become one of the most sought-after courses. He also serves as an instructor in Executing Strategy for Results—an advanced program for senior executives—and was the director of the Active Learning Programme—a joint initiative of LBS, MIT, and YPO (Young Presidents Organization). He is a founding partner at Charles Thames, a boutique advisory firm assisting CEOs and top teams in formulating and executing strategy. During the past several years, he has worked closely with a multitude of C-suite executives, leading company-wide interventions to remove strategic bottlenecks—all with documented results and far-reaching impact.
Stefano holds a Sloan Fellowship MSc in General Management (with distinction) from LBS and an MSc in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, and studied participant-centred learning methods at Harvard Business School.”
