Stephen Dimmock

Stephen Dimmock is professor in the Department of Finance at NUS Business School and a fellow of the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economics Research. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B. Comm from the University of Saskatchewan.

Stephen Dimmock’s main research interests include household finance, portfolio choice, financial advisors, financial misconduct, endowment funds, and behavioral finance. He has published in leading journals, such as the American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics, and Review of Financial Studies. He is an editor of the Journal of Pension Economics and Finance, and an associate editor of the Journal of Corporate Finance and the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal. His research has won best paper awards at leading international conferences.

Dr. Dimmock has taught investments and fixed income courses at the MBA and undergraduate level. He has won multiple teaching awards.
